One of the biggest misconceptions online is when people throw a screenshot and people assume they are making a ton of cash.
This is pretty much evident in the Ecom niche whereby people post screenshots of $10k or $100k a month and then fail to disclose their NET PROFIT! Go figure.
So why did I quit Ecom and decide to help course creators and consults?
Simple. I wanted to make an impact and offer my help to a different set of audience.
The Ecom business did not appeal to me anymore. With profit margins around 30-40% and the risks of getting your Facebook account shut down, it was not worth it.
I, therefore, decided to help coaches, consultants and course creators. I felt there was a bigger problem to solve – help these people generate leads and sales through Facebook Ads.

âś… Why Course Creators/Consultants/Coaches?
These group of people are there for one thing – to solve people’s problems. They have a lot to share with the world and it would have been a crime not to help this audience. And these group of people need targeted traffic.

âś… Course Creators/Coaches have not grasped Facebook Ads
Facebook Ads is getting more and more competitive. It is not a simple case of setting up an ad and expecting a bunch of leads and sales. There is a whole powerful mechanism behind those ads. With more and more issues of being compliant and privacy issues, your ads are going to be under more scrutiny than ever. As a course creator, it is important to generate targeted traffic to your offer, with the right elements incorporated into your ads.
âś… Facebook Ad Spend

If you are a course creator or a coach you might have wasted a few 100 dollars just by testing. This is common and many course creators are left frustrated when they have the best ad copy in the world and the best offer, but the offer does not convert. They find themselves spending more money than ever before. As a result of this most course creators give up on Facebook Ads and end up turning towards organic methods of generating traffic. If you are in a niche that has not many groups or pages then it will be difficult to generate organic traffic unless you run paid ads.
âś… Facebook Data/Metrics can be confusing

Having run successful Facebook campaigns for many years and consulted 100s of people the one thing that I always look at is the metrics. If you are running ads at the moment, take a look at the metrics.
Does it make sense? If it doesn’t then you need to do something about it.
Despite the problems and the recent account issues, I believe 2020 will be an important year for Facebook and more and more advertisers will be competing to have their “message” heard.
